Because we care about our users, and because we treat people the way we would want to be treated, we don't sell or give away your personal information. Instead of asking you to wade through a bunch of legalese, here is the human language version explaining our principles:
We don't collect any personally-identifiable information, unless you share it with us (like signing up for our email list or completing your account profile).
Like the vast majority of websites and mobile apps out there, we use analytics tools to help us make better informed product decisions (which means better products for you, our customer).
We use our own authentication and account profile database. Your password is cryptographically secured. If you do share your personal information, it stays with us — we don't share it with, or sell it to any other third-parties except for the tools and services required to support the application (more of that below). Your workout history (which requires you to be signed in to your account) also lives on our servers, and a copy is also saved to Apple's HealthKit framework (iOS only). You may choose to sync your Healthkit data with iCloud via Apple's iOS settings.
AdMob is used for serving advertising within the application. AdMob is part of the Google / Firebase suite of tools. We do not use personally identifiable information in connection with displaying banner ads (or tapping on them). Should you purchase a subscription to support application development, advertising is removed from the application and your use is no longer visible to the AdMob network.
If you contact us via Email or social media your contact information is used for the purpose of conducting business and correspondence. We do not share your contact information.
We respect your inbox and your attention, so we only send emails about truly important news and information. If you're on one of our beta or pre-release lists, you'll probably get a little more email as features are nearing completion, but it won't be much.
